Hi everyone,
Perhaps this option has been added to the admin dashboard in a subsequent release, because I came across it and updated our avatar.
Just leaving the path here in case others are interested: appearance, customize, logos, Default Profile Photo.

Thanks Ed, for starting this thread, and Troy for weighing in!
At the City Tech OpenLab we do this manually, but are interested in learning about plugins that others are using.

Hi Ed, I admin a couple of mid-size WP multisites and a couple of smaller CBox ones.
I am running both Multisite Enhancements and Multisite Plugin Manager on our two mid-size servers. They seem to function just fine. There was one small issue with Multisite Enhancements involving favicons. If I recall it was initially sorted with some developer…[Read more]

This week over in SUNY, we had a problem with a non-Commons In Box plugin that broke one of our subsites, to the point that we were unable to view the site or even view the backend to turn the plugin off.
It’s one of those worst case scenario moments, and everything is fine now, but it got Amanda and I thinking and talking about Plugin Management…[Read more]

Sorry for the error. I’ve created the tag and you should now be able to complete the upgrade via the CBOX upgrade panel.

@cbox_admin – It looks like WP Grade Comments 1.4.4 was not tagged on wp.org’s SVN, so the referenced download for CBOX OpenLab does not exist: https://github.com/cuny-academic-commons/commons-in-a-box/blob/9c92ebb5bd410eeff8bc6859b7ece90bd8d160e2/includes/openlab/plugins.php#L362.
Can you take a look?

Hi Ed,
Thanks for reporting this!
@cbox_admin Boone, would you be able to take a look at this? I’m able to reproduce the issue when I try to update WP Grade Comments on openlabdev.org. I’ve attached a screenshot.
Thanks!
Bree

We recently updated to the new point version of Commons in a Box OpenLab.
Our problem is that WP Grade Comments is breaking the upgrade process. When we went to the CBOX Dashboard and tried to upgrade plugins, all of the other plugins successfully upgraded themselves to the latest version except WP Grade Comments.
We got this error…[Read more]

Hi Syelle,
Thanks for finding this bug. I can confirm the problem.
I have created a new issue with a fix:
https://github.com/cuny-academic-commons/commons-in-a-box/issues/375In the meantime, before the next release, you will need to override the
/wp-content/themes/openlab-theme/sidebar-help.php

Ray replied to the topic What is the correct way to translate all CBOX OpenLab texts? in the forum OpenLab Help & Support 3 years ago
The OpenLab theme’s strings are covered by the
commons-in-a-box
plugin, so you only need to translate the strings from thecommons-in-a-box
plugin. -

Thanks again, @r-a-y. We finally remembered that Chris created a help page called “contact us,” and the system automatically linked it to that “Contact” in Our Support Team help widget.
And here is a clearer picture of why we wanted to change it, but it’s not high priority, in case you are overly busy; we just want to follow up:
