@cbox_admin – It looks like WP Grade Comments 1.4.4 was not tagged on wp.org’s SVN, so the referenced download for CBOX OpenLab does not exist: https://github.com/cuny-academic-commons/commons-in-a-box/blob/9c92ebb5bd410eeff8bc6859b7ece90bd8d160e2/includes/openlab/plugins.php#L362.
Can you take a look?
Thanks for reporting this!
@cbox_admin Boone, would you be able to take a look at this? I’m able to reproduce the issue when I try to update WP Grade Comments on openlabdev.org. I’ve attached a screenshot.
Ray replied to the topic What is the correct way to translate all CBOX OpenLab texts? in the forum OpenLab Help & Support 1 year, 11 months ago
The text strings you mentioned like “You are here” are a part of CBOX, not BuddyPress.
How are you doing the translations at the moment? If you are translating with help from a plugin like Loco Translate, you’ll need to translate for the
commons-in-a-boxtextdomain as well.
You can also help out with the Spanish translation for CBOX…[Read more]

Thanks for the update, Mary!
@cbox_admin would you mind taking a look? Thanks!
For the debug log, I meant site ID 62, not 66 (was a typo). I think what happened was a site that was connected to a group, was later manually deleted. For some reason, the group connected to the removed site is still referencing the deleted site. The group could be either from a course, project or portfolio.
Hi Joanna, I’ve tried to recreate the problem you’ve encountered but cannot. Is there anything special about your setup? Do you have any other plugins that might be interfering?
Regarding creating folders without creating a document, I pretty sure that’s possible at present. @cbox_admin may be able to give a definitive answer.
Thanks for looking into PHP7 compatibility with CBOX, Troy.
I’ve run cbox-theme and buddypress-docs through a script called php7cc and only cbox-theme has major errors.
I’ve opened an issue for cbox-theme here:
buddypress-docs has a potential warning with the following:
@cbox_admin – Sorry for the delay, but I have finally checked the things you have asked of me.
– is $force_check indeed defaulting to false on these calls?
Yes, I checked this and force_checked == false for every call that takes place on the wiki home page. However, on the next part of the function (the ‘ ‘ === $is_protected):
// Fall back on…[Read more]
Thanks for debugging. I would raise an issue on the BuddyPress Docs ticket page:
In the meantime, I would look at disabling the attachment loop on the wiki homepage since you have a ton of attachments on your wiki.
Hi Helen @helenwhite
I’m glad you are considering CBOX for your project. I am copying @cbox_admin and @r-a-y since they did most of the work on the “reply by email” plugin. I’m not sure of the complexity of sending SMS via the plugin – but it doesn’t seem such a stretch, since you can send text messages via email.
Ray, Boone – can you let H…[Read more]
Matthew K Gold replied to the topic Anyone have an "invitation only" or members only site?? in the forum Help & Support via email 9 years, 5 months ago
The closest thing to this is the Invite Anyone plugin (
http://wordpress.org/plugins/invite-anyone/ ), which @cbox_admin wrote for
the CUNY Academic Commons. Using that plugin, you could invite people to
your site and select certain groups that they will be invited to
automatically once they join. We’ve used it with success on CAC site.
Hi Danny – I did a quick test by going the the activity stream in my dashboard and editing an item. It seems the only tags that are permitted are the ones that are shown on the TINY-MCE. Are you saying that your previous site was running BuddyPress, and you were able to enter other HTML tags on activity stream edit? Could you possibly have a pl…[Read more]
Hi @sepidpooy –
Joyride has some pretty good documentation here –
Not sure if you are aware. It seems to require five steps, and they are described in pretty good detail. Can you look at the way the theme developers are implementing it in CBOX and mimic for the group home p…[Read more]
Hi! Anyone have advice about using CBOX with multiple networks? I am using a plugin called networks+http://wpebooks.com/networks/ which means that I have several networks set up under a single MU wordpress install – but the CBOX theme does not work in any networks that I set up in this way (apart from the main original network). Any advice wo…[Read more]

I applied both fixes to ../wp-content/plugins/buddypress-docs-wiki/bpdw.php
However, I still have both issues. Here’s what I’m doing and how the site is setup:
1. I’m logged in as superadmin
2. I navigate to mysite/docs/
3. I click the Create New Doc button (mysite/docs/create/)
4. I give the doc a title, some…[Read more]
