There are no known issues with Commons In A Box and WP 4.0. Users should feel free to upgrade.

However, BP 2.1 is coming out next week, and there are some changes we need to review, and we will shoot for a Commons In A Box release later in the month.

@investa – You don’t need to upgrade your theme since you’re already using the latest version of it.

@investa – What happens when you switch your theme to the CBOX theme?

Do not use your child theme until we can verify that the problem occurs in the main CBOX theme.

@investa – Looks like the jQuery javascript library isn’t loading on your CBOX theme options page for whatever reason.

Can you make sure you are on WordPress 3.6.1 and CBOX 1.0.5.1. And that you have upgraded your CBOX Theme from the CBOX dashboard?
