    In the last few days I have been getting about 10 spam members a day (having not had any problem previously). I am using wanguard but does any one have an addition plugins that are fending off unwanted registrations? Cheers

    Hi Sam,

    I’ve used WordFence on a few CBOX sites. @r-a-y has also created a plugin
    that restricts registration to .org and .edu addresses, with others
    required to email site admins to request account registration.

    Thanks for this, I’ve added wordfence. What is Ray’s plugin called if I just allow university emails?

    @investa – The plugin is called BP Restrict Signup By Email Domain and can be found on Github for the time being:
    https://github.com/r-a-y/bp-rsed

    It will be added to the wordpress.org plugin directory soon.
