I’d like very much to attend the above-referenced zoom call regarding help screens whenever scheduled. Thanks!
December 3, 2020 at 9:04 am #8668GregParticipantThanks Bree. Encouraged you do not have same issue – offers hope! Attached pic from my iPhone 10 (page 2 of 2). After some experimenting, believe now this may be related to menu lengths (ugh – beginning to dislike the word menu). As shown on attached pic, I can duplicate this issue on my desktop screen by narrowing it. Attached pics from desktop – one with “My Invitations” visible, two others with narrowed screen showing “My Invitations” dropped off. Any assistance / insight is greatly appreciated.
And thank you too for link to other email issue. Will check that out asap.

Did not know could use different themes at subsites, so am curious how that’ll work and will definitely give it a try.., for now though, will proceed with OpenLab subsites. Have a different question about emails and invitations so will open another thread on that. Thank you again!!
November 25, 2020 at 5:38 pm #8654GregParticipantHi Bree,
Not entirely clear – sorry. Understand the suggestion on installing some plugins and activating them on subsites to try them out. Thanks much for that and pending a response to the below paragraph, will proceed accordingly – greatly appreciated!
But testing a few themes? Thought with CBOX OpenLab our theme was locked. I am indeed trying to simply organize some regular dropdown menus but currently find that unachievable and thought going to the mega menus would help. Currently my menu items are not good – they get hidden behind the black header bar, they drop off when changing the site screen-size, often times they don’t even show on mobile devices, and instead of dropdowns (on the desktop), I get child pages offset and two rows below the parent page – ugh! Thought again, bringing in mega plugins would help resolve these issues.
Any thoughts, suggestions, recommendations you might have are greatly appreciated.
Thank you again.

November 23, 2020 at 8:05 am #8645GregParticipantHi Bree,
Got it, great – thank you! No CBOX OpenLab sections on any subsites. Feel better about that – thanks!
And just to confirm you and I are referring to the same Search widget – that one at >Appearance > Widgets allows just a single keyword search box correct, versus the more extensive Search with a keyword search box plus drop boxes for Category, Term, Alphabetical and selection boxes for Open, Cloneable, and Badges as shown on that PDF sent with my support request, pg.3 of 4, correct?
Thank you again!

November 19, 2020 at 1:28 pm #8640GregParticipantThank you Bree. Will proceed accordingly to upgrade to 1.2.3. Thanks too, for the link on changes made – a bit more more detail from that posted within site.

November 12, 2020 at 1:36 pm #8621GregParticipantIt worked – you’re the greatest!
Thanks again!

November 12, 2020 at 1:24 pm #8619GregParticipantAhhh – got it! Outstanding – thank you so much! Have not yet resolved this issue, but believe I know how, less one question below regarding exact location within “.htaccess.”
Turns out I updated only the first-half of two updates needed when configuring Multisite. That is, I changed “wp-config.php” but not “.htaccess” per the attached instructions dtd Sept 26th. Will go back and make that second change now.., again per that same Sept 26th attached Instruction.
Question – really a general question for all these type of updates is: Where within the file do I insert the additional code? Is there a ground rule of thumb / best practice for this? Not clear to me where generally, is best for these added codes to get inserted?
Hey thank you again Boone / others for your assistance.

November 10, 2020 at 3:53 pm #8610GregParticipantRay,
Just a courtesy update – studied related material including what you’d provided. Holding off on that update at this time.
Now able to show additional ‘Categories’ via drop-down on home page (by creating posts associated with those categories); Clicking on those drop-down categories however, does not take you to any associated posts. Rather, just to bottom of home screen without showing any of posts at all. Need to figure this out first then will return to showing all ‘Categories’ including those without any associated posts.
Again, just a courtesy update and another note of thanks for your help – much appreciated.

November 10, 2020 at 1:19 pm #8609GregParticipantOutstanding – thank you Ray! Will give that a try and let you know how it works out. Thank you again!

November 10, 2020 at 8:27 am #8606GregParticipantThank you very much Ray. I would like to pursue this option. Hoping it does not create other issues.
My programming skill set is very light. Best I can do is follow copy and paste directions. Can you please tell me where to insert that snippet? I can send you pics of my File Manager and GoDaddy C-Panel structure if that’ll assist.
Thanks again.

November 6, 2020 at 11:02 pm #8601GregParticipantTerrific – thank you both! Reduced the header links as Ray advised, down to seven (7) and all now appear. And revised the slider images as Bree advised and all is likewise, good-to-go there also. I do recall seeing someone’s site where the text was below the images and that is preferred but for now, this definitely works and is again, greatly appreciated.
Regarding Bree’s point about CBOX OpenLab installation, I am relatively certain that OpenLab was installed from a fresh WP Multisite installation, but am wondering what indications you may have that it was not, and likewise wondering if I can investigate any areas within the site to confirm.
Thank you both once again.
Greg.
