Hi everyone,
Perhaps this option has been added to the admin dashboard in a subsequent release, because I came across it and updated our avatar.
Just leaving the path here in case others are interested: appearance, customize, logos, Default Profile Photo.
June 2, 2022 at 5:15 pm #9128S.G.ParticipantJust want to reply here on the old forum and say thank you! We love having badge links.
November 8, 2021 at 5:57 pm #9093S.G.ParticipantThanks again, @r-a-y. We finally remembered that Chris created a help page called “contact us,” and the system automatically linked it to that “Contact” in Our Support Team help widget.
And here is a clearer picture of why we wanted to change it, but it’s not high priority, in case you are overly busy; we just want to follow up:
Our Contact us info is in three places:
#1 The Our Support Team widget, in the help pages. That contact us page’s slug is blog/help/contact-us
#2 The Support footer (appearance > customize > community-wide footer > footer middle > content) has a contact us that links to a different contact us page that; its slug is about/contact-us/ .
#3 About (page in the main nav) has a sidebar menu (located in Appearance > menus > about menu); this is the same page in #2, which ends in about/contact-us/.
Although we updated both contact pages to have the same content, we thought it would be a better practice to have all three link to one contact page, so that we don’t update one and forget to update the other. So we could update #2 and #3 to link to the blog/help/contact-us, but we prefer the about/contact-us/ url.
So it appears we can’t change the link in the Our Support Team widget to go to about/contact-us? and editing the slug would not work either? (The editable portion does not include blog/help.)
It seems a child theme would be the only way, but that is a bigger project for down the road.We hope this helps clarify. Thanks again for attending to our inquiry.

November 8, 2021 at 3:04 pm #9092S.G.ParticipantThanks, @r-a-y! Follow-up question:
Chris says “It looks like the Openlab-Theme does not have a POT file. We would have to generate one to use Loco Translate. Does a POT file exist for the OpenLab theme? Is this something that the CBOX-OL team could check if we attempted to generate it?”
November 3, 2021 at 4:51 pm #9088S.G.ParticipantOh, yes! This is helpful. I believe updating that Contact Us page is how we did it the first time.
I’ll try changing the page slug and let you know how it goes.
November 3, 2021 at 3:02 pm #9082S.G.ParticipantThanks very much–I’ve passed this on to Chris.
November 3, 2021 at 2:59 pm #9081S.G.ParticipantThat’s strange, because we did modify it in the past, so it was possible, with no child theme. That’s how the widget in that link links to our contact info–we added it.
And that’s also what we want to modify again now: We need to update the contact page link we put in there last year.

September 24, 2021 at 8:31 am #9007S.G.ParticipantThanks, Bree–see below:
The email address you used to test invites on the City Tech OpenLab is not the one associated with my account, so what you did there was send an invite to join the OpenLab with that email. If you go to ‘Invite new members by email’ and use the email associated with my account, you will get the same error.
Okay, sorry about that.
However, you should still be able to invite existing members, but search by email instead of username. So, you’d go to the group > Membership > Invite New Members, and in the first section on that page, ‘Search for community members to invite to your group’, you can enter an existing member’s email address and you’ll see their display name appear…
I’m sorry I didn’t clarify that we do know that we can search for existing users to invite, by email address, but it wouldn’t solve the issue, because it is still looking up users one at a time. The need is for bulk-inviting existing users, not inviting by email per se.
We do also have some new functionality on the City Tech OpenLab where faculty can add a list of students via email (we have a post about it, if you’re interested.) This is the first semester we’re really testing in out on the OpenLab, but if it’s working well we could look into adding it to CBOX OpenLab in the future.
This does looks like a great solution, thanks for lettings us know. I’ll run the idea by the team. Hope it goes well!
September 23, 2021 at 4:21 pm #8999S.G.ParticipantThanks so much for looking into this, @r-a-y and Boone.
We looked at Boone’s solve on github, and we’re following up because we’re not sure it’s the height/width issue. We took a screencast showing that WordPress seems to remove the spaces around our div code/wrapper, over time. To solve the issue, we wonder if either WP could stop changing the spacing, or, we could get Gutenberg in the Help pages, if that’s possible.

Thanks for your time!
