    Hi all,

We are experiencing two bugs in our course template, which our team has been editing.

The first bug is that when our team edits the site tagline, it does not save, meaning that when someone creates a course, the tagline is not the one that we set. When we look at the template (as network admin), it does show the site tagline that we changed it to, on both front end and db.

When we clone sites with a customized site tagline, the customized tagline does copy over with the clone, so this possible bug in the template is not expected behavior, as far as we know.

The second bug is an old WordPress bug that we used to have, and that was solved by the cbox 1.2.4 release: Even though there is a published post in each of the two categories on the template, navigating to the category in the new course menu leads to an error message (“This is somewhat embarrassing, isn’t it? It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching can help.”) Changing the theme to any other theme solves it, but users of course don’t know to do this.

    Screenshots attached. Any ideas?
    Thank you!

Thanks for the detailed report Syelle!

I was able to reproduce the issues and have put in a ticket: https://github.com/cuny-academic-commons/commons-in-a-box/issues/362
