thanks! will try that.
August 2, 2015 at 10:17 pm #5736DeniseParticipantThanks. It happened when I was updating plugins, I updated BuddyPress I believe, I was just updating a bunch of them, and I think it hung on BuddyPress.
So to reiterate, go into FTP and Deactivate Commons in a Box plugin. And reinstall from the CBOX plugin via wordpress repository through FTP. Since my data is in a db, will it stay in tact when I reinstall the plugins?
July 31, 2015 at 3:13 pm #5733DeniseParticipantGood to know, yes, I’d love to get my site back up, I was just implementing a lot of new spaces, groups and information and had yet to back it up.
July 30, 2015 at 10:48 pm #5731DeniseParticipantWould installing an earlier version of Commons In a Box help? Or BuddyPress? It’s all disabled! Does it shift the Commons in a Box code?
July 30, 2015 at 10:18 pm #5730DeniseParticipantI’m also getting this.
Fatal error: Class ‘CBox_Frontend’ not found in /nfs/c02/h08/mnt/19001/domains/writerstemple.com/html/wp-content/plugins/commons-in-a-box/loader.php on line 148
November 23, 2013 at 4:22 pm #4000DeniseParticipantHa! I was wondering if I spoke too soon and didn’t check before I posted — it works!! I did check after installing the updates, yet it seems to have taken an extra few minutes and IT WORKS!!!
Thank you for your updates! Make sure you click on the extra updates with the yellow background that says, “Commons in a Box is almost ready…” and brings you to the Commons in a Box dashboard where you can then update the used plugins!
Thanks again. 🙂 Happy.
November 23, 2013 at 4:20 pm #3999DeniseParticipantHi, I updated from CBOX install 1.0.5.1 to 1.0.6, and still do not have access to View docs.
(I also reinstalled WordPress 3.7.1 just in case for thoroughness.)
And then updated via the “Commons in a Box is almost ready… 5 installed plugins and the CBOX Default theme have updates available. Click on the button below to upgrade” message. Those updates included BuddyPress Docs and BuddyPress Wiki Add-on plugin updates. They are all updated and still no Docs view.

And I did rename “Docs” to “Words” at the beginning of the process of this all.Thank you for any assistance you may give. My site is not up and ready for use yet, alas, this will get it closer!

November 6, 2013 at 12:19 pm #3840DeniseParticipantThanks tons Scott and Boone – The maintenance release fixing docs would be great. I am really digging the Commons in a Box set! Yes, I also have the updated WordPress. Another couple things I noticed, and I may just not be familiar with the ground, or it may be an issue, is the shortcode in my Pages such as [theme-my-login] weren’t doing anything, basically just showing the shortcode, is it supposed to bring the theme in?
November 5, 2013 at 11:05 pm #3794DeniseParticipantThanks! It’s a logged in user – admin and author, in both private and public groups…. It’s all groups.
