Hi Ed, I admin a couple of mid-size WP multisites and a couple of smaller CBox ones.
I am running both Multisite Enhancements and Multisite Plugin Manager on our two mid-size servers. They seem to function just fine. There was one small issue with Multisite Enhancements involving favicons. If I recall it was initially sorted with some developer…[Read more]

And then just after posting this an example came through from this forum in this thread:
Possible it is related to the attributes in the html tags.

Hi all, we’re experiencing a random issue on our OpenLab instance. (I know, there is no such thing as a random issue, only one for which you have not yet discerned the pattern.)
Participants, on occasion, in the visual tab (it’s not a text/html tab by mistake thing), are finding that html code rather than the formatting the code should provide is…[Read more]

Troy Welch replied to the topic Unable to access regular pages following 1.24 upgrade in the forum OpenLab Help & Support 3 years, 9 months ago
Hi Bree, I didn’t specifically check About, but I’m talking about anything created with the WP default Page post type.
We currently (based on 1.1x builds) have the curriculum content for a course in a set of hierarchical pages that are linked from the Course group. It is these pages I’m specifically referring to.

Hi all, another solved but “in case anyone else got messed up by this” post. Probably it is not an issue unless you are using a child-theme against the openlab theme for your main site.
About a month or so back I upgrade our server from v1.1 to 1.23. The interface, most notable the top bar was clear not getting css. There was a console error in…[Read more]

Hi all, off the top, this is solved by resaving the permalink settings. I’m just posting this in case someone else runs into the issues.

Thanks Ray. This sounds great. Some updating/work on our child theme is on my project list for the next couple of months, so this will fit nicely.

Thanks Boone, I’ll give this a shot. It should fit the use case perfectly.
Probably scenario 1. We haven’t been running with a course site.

Thanks Ed. It looks like they are running Elementor Pro plus some addons, it may be something associated with that. But you have given me some ideas to dig into.
Our installation is program-specific with Site providing course content and the CBox set of functionality. Students each have a portfolio sub-site on the installation that they use to do…[Read more]

Hi, first thanks for the incredible work you all do on this project.
Second, apologies if this is something blindingly obvious which I have missed.
We have program running in the Openlab version and some instructors have requested an activity feed in the courses group.
More specifically, much of the course assessment is via posts on the…[Read more]

Hi, recognizing that CBox Openlab is primarily Buddypress driven, we do have an issue that is causing some confusion with our users. Posts created on the main site are not rendering their Titles or Bodies. They will render the comment interface if selected in the post settings.
We are using some pages on the main site and they render just…[Read more]

Thanks Ray, I appreciate the update. I’ll likely get that in early Monday morning. We have a class going on at the moment, so early monday is a slow time to sort it out.

Certainly, thanks for the follow up Bree.
The console in this case is only showing a couple of JQMIGRATE warnings that actually appear on every page.

Hi again (making a real pest of myself aren’t I),
I’m experiencing a couple of issues related to events/calendar.
On the events entry page I am getting a warning as shown in the screen shot attached, and it does not seem to save location information.
Then on the Group calendar page there are some console errors. (screen cap also attached)

Hi, I’m getting the following warning on the Group Files page (see screen cap attached).
<b>Warning</b>: count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable in <b>/var/www/html/wp-content/themes/openlab-theme/buddypress/groups/single/documents.php</b> on line <b>14</b>
Thanks,

Troy Welch replied to the topic Create/Clone Course (or other group types) error on step 3 in the forum OpenLab Help & Support 5 years, 11 months ago
Hi Boone, here’s the scoop:
Url checks out fine
I am using a child theme, no BP template overrides just the following so far:
- A hack to add sidebar area to /lib/sidebar-funcs.php
- A copy of page.php which adds a sidebar area. This is implemented as a page template.
Running the bundled version of Invite Anyone
The #create-group-form element…[Read more]
