I’m noticing a very odd *flash* when I load the front page of my site: as the slider populates, one of my images appears for a split second, super huge and super zoomed-in. And then it goes away and the slider appears and functions as expected.

Has anyone else noticed that? Any sense of what might be causing such weirdness? Thanks much!

    Hi Kathleen,

I’ve noticed this as well on the demo site.

I believe it’s because the slider javascript code (which I believe resizes the images and hides the various slider items) doesn’t fire until the entire document is loaded.

I’ll let @bowe chime in to see how this can be improved.

FYI – The flash seems to occur on the demo site when using Safari but not when using Firefox.

Hi, I’m getting the same odd flash as Kathleen when I go from one page on my site back to the homepage. There is a video on my homepage that does this, it just goes super big for one second and then resizes.

Any idea how to stop this from happening? I’m viewing my site with Chome.

Actually it is the last slider image and not the video….
