Tagged: header height, header options
The header area of this theme is very high … it’s a big white area with a logo in it .
This means that on every pageload the first thing I have to do is scroll down in order to be able to do much or see much, but boy I DO get very well aquanted with that logo, and it is very nice 🙂
I attach a screenshot that might show you what I mean
By “this theme” I mean the very theme that commonsinabox.org uses here 🙂
Hi Esben – The header is configurable using Appearances>>CBOX Theme Options>>Header Options. There you can remove the logo, add a new logo, adjust the header height, margins, padding and background color. Hope this helps.
Hi,
More and more students (not only) use small devices like smartphones and tablets to surf the Internet from everywhere, and for a community website it can be very interesting to have a smaller header. It’s the case if we don’t want people to have to scroll down to see our homepage slideshow, for example.
I tried to set the header size like BuddyPress.org or PressCrew.com with a height at 80 or 70 pixels, but couldn’t do it from the dashboard (or maybe I missed something?). Is there a direct way to get a header size under 100 pixels through Appearances>>CBOX Theme Options>>Header Options?
Or if not, is there a css code we could add in design.css?

You might need to use the !important
rule to override CSS styles that CBOX Theme uses.
