Commons In A Box 1.4.0

Commons In A Box 1.4.0 is now available!

This major update includes improved compatibility with the latest versions of WP and PHP, and the following features in the OpenLab package:

• A “template chooser” tool for new sites: Admins create and curate a categorized list of template sites, and users creating new sites can choose from these templates when creating a site of their own.
• A new tool for creating, editing, and sorting Academic Terms, such as “Fall 2023” and “Spring 2024”. Group admins then select a relevant Academic Term from a dropdown rather than typing it into a free-text field.
• Extensive improvements to the Attributions tool, including better performance on mobile.
• Extensive improvements to the Import/Export tool, including clearer UI for downloading different types of export packages, and easier selection of content when importing.

The 1.4.0 release also includes fixes for a number of bugs and bits of unexpected behavior in the OpenLab package. For more details, visit the changelog or the GitHub milestone.
