The BuddyPress Groupblog plugin allows each group to have a group blog attached to it. Members automatically become users of the blog, and are assigned permission levels configured by the group administrator. If a member leaves a group, his or her permission level is set to “Subscriber.”

This plugin requires a multisite installation of WordPress. To set up a Group Blog, a group admin needs to go to the group admin panel, and select “Group Blog” and configure its options:
