Thanks for your reply. The CBOX site was set up by an ancient hacker. His theory was that if he made things simple enough, other people would use it. He made a home-brew wiki that basically only he * I used….

I’m not familiar with php, or, WordPress, or BuddyPress or any of the guts here. I do figure things out eventually. WP_DEBUG was set to false already. I don’t like the part about throwing an error in the future.

My guess is that the “short codes” expand into some code somewhere.

I do really like the “list all documents” feature. Is there an alternative method to get this feature?

Reusing this Topic.

I upgraded to CBOX 1.0.9.  We are still at WP 3.9.X. Should I try WP 4.1 or should I figure out how to upgrade to 4.0.1?

I will check out BP Group Documents, but, first I will upgrade to the latest CBOX.

My immediate fix may be sort of a hack in terms of CBOX, but, it fixes my problem. We are a church with about 30+/- more and less active volunteers and we are using CBOX to share information. It has been successful organizing events and sharing current information. The minutes are converted to PDF (we’ll be able to read those in 1000 years, right?). These are archive materials, so, I am OK doing some extra work that will be hard to maintain.

What I did was to rename the minutes page to be minutes-attachments-slow and recreated the minutes page with links to the attachments via http://fpsudbury.org/members/docs/minutes-attachments-slow/?bp-attachment=minutes2010-02-01.pdf

So, the minutes page loads fast. If this is a bad idea, aside from the hard to maintain aspect, please let me know.
