Has anyone tested it with Commons in a Box? I tend toward caution especially since this is a major upgrade.

I’d also like to know if anyone has tried the new wordpress out yet and whether a new cbox is coming out soon. Any pointers would be great. I am restraining pushing update on the pile of plugins flashing at me as I guess they are all wordpress 4 related updates and I don’t want to throw my cbox out of sync.  However, there may of course be no need for concern.

    Hi Steve and Sam @steveoc @investa –

There are no known issues with Commons In A Box and WP 4.0. Users should feel free to upgrade.

However, BP 2.1 is coming out next week, and there are some changes we need to review, and we will shoot for a Commons In A Box release later in the month.

    Thanks.

@scottvoth – I thought I’d chime in on this thread. I just updated an instance of WordPress to 4.0 which has the current version of CBox on it and it broke group docs for me. After the update some group docs work and others bring up the “Darn it.. Nothing found” page. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

    Hi Matt @brooks1man –

I haven’t actually heard of any issues with WP 4.0.  Is it possible that you can go to Settings>>Permalinks and ‘save’ to refresh your links – does that resolve this issue?

I am also pinging @r-a-y to see if he might have heard of any issues with WP 4.0 and Docs.

    Thanks!

Sorry, I should have mentioned that refreshing the permalinks is the only thing I’ve tried so far (without success). I’m not sure what the pattern is for the docs not working as I have groups that have docs that both do and don’t work.

    Hi Matt –

I have opened up a ticket on GitHub for this one.  You can track it here:

    Thanks.

Sounds good, just let me know if you’d like me to test something out, give you more info, etc.
