    Hi Chrissi @ritzius2

I moved this discussion over to the forum so that it is easier to share with the community and so that I can attach a screenshot.

Synopsis of the issue – It is complicated and sometimes confusing to figure out which widget is active in a particular sidebar.

    So to continue the discussion:

I think maybe the best way to debug your problem is to delete the widgets from the widgetized areas – starting with the “Page Sidebar”.  What is nice about the theme – if you have not assigned any widgets to an area – it will give you the name of the widgetized area that you should use.  Most sidebars have two areas – the “SiteWide Sidebar”, and the another one (i.e. “Page Sidebar”).  If you have nothing in them, they will show like the image attached, below (this is a page using the blog template, with no widgets in either of the “page sidebar” or the “sitewide sidebar”):

If we can figure out which widgetized area is active for the sidebar you want to populate, then I think we’re good to go.  And if that doesn’t work – we can always look further.  Hope this helps!
