Request Membership not Working on Single Group Page

    I’m using the CBOX theme, WordPress 3.5.1 (multisite), and CBOX 1.0.4.

    When a user tries to request membership in a private group from the Single Group page all they get it is a page with the same button (i.e. Request membership).  No membership request is generated.

    When the same user requests membership from the Group list it works.

    Hi Brian,

    Thanks for the bug report.  There was a bug in the CBOX Theme group template.

    I’ve just fixed this and this will make its way into the next CBOX release.

    However if you can’t wait until then, check out the commit and patch:
    /wp-content/themes/cbox-theme/groups/single/home.php

    It’s a simple one line fix:

    Thanks, Ray! Adding the .php extension on line 74 of that file fixed it for me.

    By the way, the BuddyPress documentation shows that users requesting membership to a private group can submit a comment to the group admin(s) along with their request. Is that feature not part of this theme?
