    Hi there,

As our site hasn’t gone live yet I accepted the upgrade for WordPress 3.6.

The CBOX Theme Options now doesn’t function the way it had prior to the upgrade.  Clicking on the Options button triggers a new tab (at least in Chrome) that results in an empty page other than “0” appearing in the top left corner.

I’ve provided screen dumps in the attached file.

    Thanks … Michael

    Hi Michael,

We will be releasing the next version of CBOX early next week to address this.

For specifics into the issue, WordPress 3.6 upgraded some javascript libraries that broke the rendering of the CBOX Theme Options page.

We have added a stop-gap fix for this:
    https://github.com/cuny-academic-commons/cbox-theme/commit/87a8c0dfc148a2552e79fac2f9e3aea790b7cb94

Feel free to make these changes manually in the meantime and let us know if this allows you to view the page again.

    Hi Ray,

Thanks for your message.  I applied the stop-gap fix and it’s worked fine.

Thanks again, an best regards … Michael

Thanks for the fix – the Options are on again 🙂

However, the links for uploading, selecting, zooming or trashing the logo image are dead 🙁

    Hi Ray,

Had same issue. The stop-gap fix helped to get the tabs back. In my case (http://stabrolia.com/) I decided to disable image completely so didn’t run into trouble like the one Eyal mentioned. Thanks for the fix and looking forward to the next release of the CBOX.

    Regards,

    Val

Same as Eyal. I’m unable to upload/select/delete a new logo or favicon. Links don’t work.

If you’re not using the Commons In A Box plugin, upgrade your theme manually to 1.0.5:
    https://github.com/cuny-academic-commons/cbox-theme/archive/1.0.5.zip

Or if you’ve already applied the other hotfix noted above, apply this fix as well:
    https://github.com/cuny-academic-commons/cbox-theme/commit/3c0dae65f12368ba03b930e443164aaf6ab36329

Uploading should work again after applying this fix.

Thank you for the suggestion. They didn’t work.

I am actually on a new install of CBOX which already had v1.0.5 of the theme. I also double checked that the second fix was there. It is.

I am using the CBOX-child theme to make style changes. Also a new download since the 1.0.5 release. Is there anything in the cbox-child theme that needs updated as well?

I am seeing the same issues.

Upgraded to CBOX 1.0.5 on staging server.

    Confirmed fix already applied (https://commonsinabox.org/groups/help-support/forum/topic/possible-cbox-theme-options-bug-resulting-from-upgrade-to-wordpress-3-6/#post-3453).

I encounter the following two issues with the theme option editor:

    1. The media uploader window looks and acts wonky in my browsers (see screenshots 1,2,3). Selecting a new favicon or logo from the media library makes no changes.

    2. Intermittently, the option editor just loops without loading (see screenshot 4) and the links are dead as @emeyal and @geoffreysmac-com also said.

So according to this discussion …

the theme options editor is completely broken in CBOX 1.0.4 after upgrading to WP 3.6

    and

the theme options editor is still broken in CBOX 1.0.5

Anyone able to successfully upgrade to WP 3.6 & CBOX 1.0.5 without these issues? Anyone seeing something different? Any other suggestions?

    Hey all,

I’m having similar issues with the theme options editor as people above. If it helps at all here’s the javascript error that I get when I load up the options page:

    [12:40:03.853] TypeError: $(…).icextOptionUploader is not a function @ http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.8.3/jquery.min.js?ver=1.8.3:23

So I think for some reason cbox-theme/ICE/ext/options/upload/template.js isn’t getting read, because that’s where icextOptionUploader is defined/jQuery is extended to include it ($.fn.icextOptionUploader = …). I don’t know why that is/probably don’t know enough about Infinity theming engine to figure it out but will take a crack at it. Maybe someone else knows better though? Also would that only fix the upload problems or would it take care of the broken link, etc. stuff as well.

I’m actually getting a completely different looking OPTIONS page that doesn’t work. Nothing works when I click on it except a new red X.
