    Hello,

I’ve been finding that, when I have designated a “parent” for a “child” page in the Buddypress wiki, the next time I edit that page, it once again reverts to the default setting of “no parent” and I have to tell it again what the parent is supposed to be. While I can do that, it means that if multiple people work on the wiki, all of them will have to remember that – and some of them may not have checked what the original parent of a page was and categorize it incorrectly.

So: how can one make sure that a “parent” designation actually sticks?

    Hi Wolfgang,

This is a bug with the parent plug, BuddyPress Docs.

I have added a bug report here:
    https://github.com/boonebgorges/buddypress-docs/issues/293

In the report, I note a potential fix that you can temporarily add to BP Docs to fix this problem.

The fix should be made in /wp-content/plugins/buddypress-docs/includes/templatetags-edit.php

I just let the other admin who knows software code know about this – I hope he’ll be able to install the fix!

    Thanks.
