    HI-

I’m trying to change the Header logo and when the Media Uploader runs I get the following error in the Web console:

    [13:13:21.166] GET http://blog.clt.odu.edu/oflc_compare/wp-content/themes/Apache2.2.21/htdocs/oflc_compare/wp-content/themes/cbox-theme/engine/ICE/ext/options/upload/media-upload.js?ver=1.0 [HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found 2610ms]

The path includes the bold items.

When I use the Media Uploader for a post (which works) the web console shows the path the path —
    http://blog.clt.odu.edu/oflc_compare/wp-admin/media-upload.php?type=image&tab=type&post_id=20

Is there a setting that we can check into or something else we can try to resolve this?

    Thanks in advance.

    Dan

    Hi Dan,

Apologies for not seeing your reply in that other thread.

Before I report this bug to the theme developers, what version of the CBOX Theme are you using?

You can find out the version number by logging in to the WP admin dashboard and navigating to “Appearance > Themes”. The version number should be listed there.

    Thanks!

    Hi Ray.

We are using Version 1.0-beta2 CBOX theme.

    Thanks for the help.

    Hi Ray.

Any update on our header/logo/media uploader issue? Should I try a different theme version or maybe try this with the new beta coming out soon.

    Thanks for the help.

    Hi Dan,

    Apologies, I missed your reply.

Can you verify that the /wp-content/themes/cbox-theme/engine/ICE/ext/options/upload/media-upload.js file does not exist on your server?

It’s a little odd because I do see it in the CBOX theme folder.

If the file does not exist for you, download it from here:
    https://raw.github.com/PressCrew/infinity/master/engine/ICE/ext/options/upload/media-upload.js

And see if that fixes your problem.

If it doesn’t, please let me know.

    No worries Ray.

The file does exist in that folder. The old thing is that the Web Console error has a slightly different path

    [13:13:21.166] GET http://blog.clt.odu.edu/oflc_compare/wp-content/themes/Apache2.2.21/htdocs/oflc_compare/wp-content/themes/cbox-theme/engine/ICE/ext/options/upload/media-upload.js?ver=1.0 [HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found 2610ms]

Somehow there is a duplicate “wp-content/themes” and the extra “Apache2.2.21/htdocs” characters there.

Maybe during install we had a problem or there is a setting that isn’t correct.

    Thanks again.

    Hi Dan,

Good catch! I guess I’m still not fully awake yet! 🙂

Do you have more info about your server setup? Are you running a WAMP package?

Any further information will help before I submit a bug report to the theme developers.

    Hi Ray.

I got the following info from our web admin.

No, we are not running a WAMP package. Apache, MySql, and PHP are running separately on a Windows 2008 R2 server.
Wordpress is installed on Apache. We use PhpMyadmin to manage the database.
     Thanks for the help.

    Hi Dan,

I have posted a bug report to the theme developers here:
    https://github.com/cuny-academic-commons/cbox-theme/issues/101

Unfortunately 1.0-beta4 will be released some time today, so this issue won’t be addressed until sometime afterwards.

    Hi Ray-

Just wanted to update you on what I’ve seen since the last post.  I experimented by installing a localhost version of CBOX on my Windows 8 PC. I get the same type of Media loader error as on our production Windows server site.

I also set up a localhost version using MAMP on a Mac and I was able to change the header logo without any error or problem.

So for us this seems to be a Windows installation issue.

Is there anything else I can do to try and narrow this down? Can you update the ticket for this for us?

    Thanks in advance.

    Dan

    Hi Dan,

Can you get in contact with Marshall who is one of the theme developers?

He wants to have a closer look at your server setup:
