I don’t know if this is just my installation or a feature of Cbox.

I’m running a multisite install of WP3.5 on a unix server on campus, and I’m finding on sub-sites, if I activate the Cbox theme, I can’t successfully select “show my recent blog posts” it wants me to use a static page. As I think about it it makes perfect sense as Cbox theme may very well be intended only for the entry point.

Anyone able to select recent posts?

I have just started to set up a sub-site and have found something similar.

I think you will need to set up a child theme for sub-sites to work using the “same” (visually) theme as the standard CBox one.

I know you had to do this with standard BuddyPress but I have been away from all this for a while.

Any quick pointers on setting up child themes appreciated.

hoenera, I just tried duplicating your issue and I can confirm that you cannot set the front page to “Your latest posts”. I believe this is intentional.

You can always create a new page called “Blog” and apply it to the “Posts page” option under “Settings > Reading”.

When you do this, you can access your recent blog posts from site.com/blog/.

    Hope that helps!
