    Hello dears,

As I see, there are compatibility problems with some plugins which are:

1- JW Player for WordPress – Flash & HTML5 Video Player: It doesn’t work with the CBox theme while it works when trying another theme.

2- jQuery Colorbox: It works but problems in appearance. The photos appears cut.

3- BuddyPress Album: doesn’t work at all. The plugin is a little old but it works with other themes.

    What could the problem be?

    Thanks

Also “BuddyPress Media” plugin doesn’t work with the theme!

Apparently I need to test all the plugins with CBox theme, I cannot use it on a live site in this case.

    Hi Hope,

I’ll let @bowe comment on these issues a bit more.

As for BuddyPress Media, there are two different BP Media plugins:
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress-media/
    https://code.google.com/p/buddypress-media/

Which one are you referring to?

Thanks for posting and for testing the CBOX theme with a bunch of WP and BP plugins!

Hi Hope – Thanks for reporting these incompatibilities.  I will pass on to the developers, and see what they think.

I think over time more plugins will pop up with issues. Because CBOX is build on top of the latest version of BuddyPress and WordPress and does some pretty “forward thinking” stuff in terms of theming, it could have some small issues. I’m going to open up a thread for “3rd Plugin Compatibility issues” where you can report them. This way we keep everything in one thread and it’s easier for us to fix them over the course of time 🙂

Okay, that would be good! But please let us know if it’s fixable or not + would it take a long time to be fixed or not.

    Thanks 🙂

Name: Jetpack – “Contact form” module
    URL: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/jetpack
    Problem: See report here

    Name: BuddyPress Courseware
    URL: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress-courseware/
Problem: Theme compatibility (I’m guessing). See report here.

The issue with Courseware is that I cannot edit a course when Docs plugin is a active. It pulls up a blank page.
I also had an issue with the Wiki pulling up a page error, but that is working now.

    Achievements Plugin blew up badly
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/achievements/
Threw php errors and had to be uninstalled.
Sorry, didn’t get a screenshot before removing it.

    Buddypress Courseware (http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/buddypress-courseware)

The plugin requires that” Discussion Forums” be active, while (correct me if I am wrong), CBOX requires “Discussion Forums” to be ‘deactive’?

One positive is that with the latest update, “Edit Course” no longer brings up a blank page.

Alan – looks like Paul Gibbs is working on Achievements 3.  I just installed it on CBOX (from the github beta v2) and so far it hasn’t blown up.  Eugene – looks like it works with Courseware too 🙂

This could be user error; however, I am receiving a double title error w/ WordPress SEO by Yoast. Went to header.php and did not see where to edit the title.
