I’ve got an issue I wonder if anyone here has had also.

I can’t create groups in buddypress with my CBOX install.

Here is what happens… (I attached a screen shot to make this more clear)

STEP ONE: I click “add new group” and it takes me to the main group creation page. So far so good. I’m able to add a name and description.

STEP TWO: The setting page is blank (has no options), but the buttons are there to go to the “next step”, so … I click that

STEP THREE: I get a blank screen with the words “Are you sure you want to do that?” (the answer to which is “yes”, but apparently wordpress didn’t get the memo, lol)

STEP FOUR: in the groups list page, my group shows up, but it is effectively empty.

Anyone else have this happen, know what’s up, and know how to get around it?

Oh, I should mention that I attempted switching themes, deactivating other plugins, and the usual dance… nothing worked.

Do you have the option to invite members?

Actually… I seem to have been able to get into it from the back end and add someone to it as well as change the avatar for it.

I guess that means that the group is functioning OK, but the group-creation process is messed up?

I’m very curious about this, and wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar to it.
