BP Forums: newest first and truncate posts

    Hi, is there a way to reverse the order of forums posts (comments under a topic) currently oldest first.

    And is there a way to truncate the post so that only a few lines appear and can then be expanded.

    Hi Helene,

    There currently is no way to reverse the order of forum posts.  However, the team have discussed adding forum enhancements like this in the past and it will probably be on the CBOX feature roadmap.

    As for truncating the forum post, I just did a quick search and could not find a suitable bbPress plugin that did this.  So, at the moment, there is no way to truncate forum posts.
