You’ll need to activate a BuddyPress-compatible theme to take advantage of all of BuddyPress’s features. We’ve bundled a default theme, but you can always install some other compatible themes or update your existing WordPress theme.

Why do I get this message on several dashboard pages?

I have a clean install of the CBOX theme, plus a simple child theme.

    Any thoughts?

    Hi Giles,

Make sure your child theme has the “buddypress” tag in the style.css.

If you already have this tag, let us know so we can look into it further.

    That worked.  Thanks.

Should be added to the CBOX instructions for setting up a child theme and the example style.css

CBOX has its roots in the CUNY Academic Commons, which in turn was made possible through funding from The City University of New York itself.
