Sorry for the late reply. It’s been a busy time of the year.

I did update to WordPress 3.8 using cbox with around 30 active plugins and I have had no issues that I have seen since then.

Hey @theironsamurai, the same thing is happening to me since I upgrade today, and after the update I am also getting an error on the BuddyPress activity page when I try post something…

"Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_referer() in /home/*******/public_html/***/wp-content/plugins/commons-in-a-box/includes/functions.php on line 28"

Hey Jeff,

I think this is exactly what you are looking for: http://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress-links/

This is not my plugin and I am not affiliated with the author of it but I have used it multiple times successfully and it does what you described and it is kept updated regularly.

Hmm, I have used alot of WPMU Dev’s plugins, but does that plugin search BuddyPress groups, members etc. as well?
