    Are we good to go with the new version? Happy with what I’ve got so don’t want to risk a WordPress update if we’re not compatible.

    Hi Sam – I haven’t heard about any issues so far.  I have a test site that I just upgraded to 3.8 and haven’t seen any problems – but maybe (given your past difficulties with upgrading) you should hold off a bit until others try.  I know on the CUNY Academic Commons (which is using a very customized theme) we found an issue in the admin bar (I think it had to do with a CSS conflict).

    I will be updating to WordPress 3.8 with cbox tomorrow, so I’ll let you know how mine goes.

    Cheers Eli, I’m still in the remedial class and on a ‘no fiddling unless you’re sure’ ban, so any advice/reassurance would be really appreciated.

    Hello Sam.

    Sorry for the late reply. It’s been a busy time of the year.

    I did update to WordPress 3.8 using cbox with around 30 active plugins and I have had no issues that I have seen since then.
