I can confirm this bug. It’s a problem with the BuddyPress integration with the bbPress forums plugin.

For now, I would recommend that you do not use the “Pending” status option.

I’ll see if I can code a workaround, but I’ll be posting a bug report to bbPress Trac. Will update this thread once I find out more.

Hi Scott,

Are you sure the MLA requires such an older version of BuddyPress? BP 4.2 was released in December 2018.

If that is the case, CBOX 1.1.1 is the release where we bumped compatibility to BuddyPress 4.2. The plugin versions for CBOX 1.1.1 can be found in the plugin manifest…[Read more]

Is there a way to figure out which versions of the CBOX plugins will work with an old version of BuddyPress – BP 4.2? The MLA for various reasons needs to stay at 4.2 but upgrade the CBOX plugins to the highest compatible versions.

Hi Troy,

This is a bbPress issue when people copy and paste from other pieces of content into the Visual Editor.

You’ll have to open up the restrictions bbPress places on other HTML tags like

, etc. The alternative is stripping those elements during pasting.
