    Greetings,

When starting the installation of wordpress multisite, I have chosen the option of folders instead of subdomains.

I would like to assign a custom domain name to the sites that I am creating on the net.

So, can I freely assign custom domain names to web sites without causing any inconvenience to CBOX OpenLab?

    Thanks for your reply!

    Hi Kirsch,

Since CBOX OpenLab is built on WordPress, you can either use a WordPress plugin to handle domain mapping or you can natively set custom domains on a per site basis.

Domain mapping can be quite tricky to set up. If you’re interested in the built-in method that comes with WordPress, check out this guide: https://wpmudev.com/blog/domain-mapping-wordpress-multisite/

See if the built-in method works for you. If you need more functionality, you can go the plugin route.

    Hope that helps!
