Hi! Anyone have advice about using CBOX with multiple networks? I am using a plugin called networks+http://wpebooks.com/networks/ which means that I have several networks set up under a single MU wordpress install – but the CBOX theme does not work in any networks that I set up in this way (apart from the main original network). Any advice would be most appreciated @cbox_admin Thanks 🙂

Hi Alison – I can open up a ticket on github and have the dev team look into this, but first can you provide a little more information about the issue.  Do you get any specific errors when using the CBOX theme?  This would help the devs better determine what is causing the incompatibility.  Thanks a lot.

Hi Scott, thanks so much for your reply,  here is a little more detail:

I don’t get any specific error messages it’s just the cbox theme doesn’t display you can see this here : http://secondnetwork.mmu.wpengine.com/

Whereas the CBOX theme works fine on the main original network ( http://mmu.wpengine.com/ ) from which I installed the Networks+ plugin (http://wpebooks.com/networks/ ) and created the secondary network

I have tested that the second network ( http://secondnetwork.mmu.wpengine.com/ ) does work fine with the normal buddy press theme (and it works fine).

This is what I did to set everything up:

I have set up a separate network under my original multiuser site mmu.wpengine.com, using the networks + plugin the new network has the URL secondnetwork.mmu.wpengine.com  and I called the site ‘Second Nework’.
That all worked fine including the use of the CBOX plugin on this second network, BUT….

The Commons in a Box theme is not displaying properly when you view this new Second Network site. I think it may be the Buddypress plugin that is making the theme break – although the buddypress plugin looks fine in the dashboard and has no errors showing. I have tested the Second Network with the normal budypress theme and it all works fine: Whilst using the normal buddypress theme the same buddypress elements from the orginial network such as the test group I made ‘Abuckleysblogfirstgroup’, also show up in this new Second Network as expected.

Many Thanks really appreciate the help 🙂

Hi Alison – thanks for the info.  I have entered the issue on github and you can track its progress here:
