OK, I’ll try and explain what it is that I need, for a certain part of my site, and see if anyone can advise me of the best way to do this.

I’d like users of the site to be able to upload their own photos into a group gallery.

We run an educational centre, where groups of schoolkids come to do outdoor fieldwork. What I ideally want is a site for them to be able to take photos whilst out and about, and then upload them to a specific group or gallery page, so that they can view them whilst back in the classroom. There can be groups of say 30 people at a time

I’m not sure whether this can be acheived via cbox, and the buddypress groups etc, and some plugins.

I have been thinking there may be a way of doing this using a Flickr group, and just setting it up previously, and then having a plugin display the group’s photos in a gallery

Or, if there is a way of using facebook to do this, as most kids will have a facebook account. I’m thinking about having kids post on a page’s timeline, then if there is a plugin to read those posts..?

It is made more complex by the fact that at any one time there may be 4 different groups of 30 kids doing this, so ideally they have their own albumn / area to post to.

Any bright ideas very welcome of how to acheive this, either using cbox, buddypress, wordpress functionality,  or linking to a 3rd party application/site  like facebook, twitter, flickr, photobucket etc

    part solutions welcome ..!

The BuddyPress Media plugin might do what you need.
