I am struggling with understanding how things are working underneath the hood – which I personally need in order to re-theme it effectively.    I apologize if this is the wrong forum to discuss, but my brain is a little foggy at this point.

Can you recommend the best (trace) tools and/or documentation to help me better understand what is happening under the hood?   I have been through the Infinity site already and can’t find anything there either.   It is quite possible I am missing something obvious here, but …

… just to clarify the request a little …

What debug tools do you recommend using in order to facilitate theme development and trouble shooting?   I like the potential flexibility / extensibility of the approach used here and by the Infinity ‘engine’.   My problem (and I may be a little thick here) is trying to understand what is going on.  For example, I can’t display ‘Rendered Templates’ to help understand the flow, etc.

So, what do you find are some of the most useful tools for trouble shooting CBOX, given some of the changes it makes to the way Buddypress / WordPress operates?   This may include additional helpful documentation.
