    Hi

This is a slightly odd one.  The submit button has disappeared from the bottom of the forums.  It appears to be related to the CBOX plugins but it is not clear which one, how or why.  What I have done:

Eliminated the Cbox theme – I have deactivated it and tried out other themes with the same outcome.

I disabled all the plugins and then reactivated them systematically, the problem only occurs when I reactivate the Cbox plugins.

I deactivated each of the Cbox plugins one by one.  The forum submit button does not reappear with any of them.

I suspect the problem is related to the Docs plugin.  When I deactivated this plugin the whole forum page disappeared.  I cant have forums without the Docs plugin but with it I cant submit.  Am I doing something stupid or is there some sort of conflict between bbpress forums and the Docs plugin?

    Any help very gratefully recieved.

Hi Kevin – this is a strange issue.  I tried to reproduce by deactivating Docs – but everything still works fine on my test site.  I have opened up an issue on GitHub here:

    https://github.com/cuny-academic-commons/cbox-theme/issues/178

We’ll see what the developers say.  Are you using the most recent version of CBOX and WordPress?  Do you have a url to your site that the developers can see?  That might help to determine if there is some javascript error or css weirdness going on.

An update for the purpose of clarification

When the Cbox plugin is deactivated and the component plugins move onto the main plugin menu but remain active the problem disappears.  The issue appears to be related to the Cbox plugin as a container.
