Is it possible to make a wiki sticky? I want to create a user guide but I would like it to stay at the top. My second question is when a member clicks on add an image, the pop box asks you to add a ‘Url to your image’, is there an easy way for users to do this from the front end?

    Hi Sam

Did you find a work around for your sticky wiki?

Hi Kiki, sadly I didn’t find a solution for the wiki. I do use iMath’s BP Sticky Groups suggested by Scott for sticky groups. It doesn’t highlight/colour the group in the same way that: REPORT: CBox Theme compatibility problems with 3rd Party plugins, is highlighted in this forum but it definitely works to bring group to the top of the list.

Hi Sam and Kiki – I have added this as a feature request.  You can track its progress here:

    Thanks Scott.

I’ve used the plugin and that works well.

    Cheers

    Sam/Kiki –

Can you provide some design ideas for the “Sticky Wiki” idea.  Boone replied:

Good idea. But what exactly does “at the top” mean? At the top of all
places where wiki pages are listed? On top only when viewing the main
Wiki directory? On top in all tag/search views? What do you think makes
    the most sense?

I have no great intellectual input I’m afraid! My first thought was just to keep it at the top of main wiki directory but anything that helps to keep a specific document easily visible without searching would be great.

I guess, much the same as sticky topics, being able to make a group, a wiki etc stay pinned in at the top.

If I could ask for anything, it would be the ability to reorder groups, wikis/docs/topics etc.

For example, if I had 5 docs in one of my groups, I might want them to appear in a particular order and stay there so there is continuity for the members to find.  Or certain documents such as ‘how to use a wiki’ pinned to the top.

It would also be great to have a comments section attached to a doc/wiki.

    Hope that helps

Thanks Kiki – I have passed your thoughts along to the developer.
