    Hi all,

What Plug-Ins work well with Commons in a Box to allow users to use information from their Social Media Profiles? Such as them authorising twitter to tell the site/forum/profile basic details, or to allow for social media sign in?

    Thanks in advance guys! 🙂

    Hi @robinacue –

Sorry for the late response.  I looked through the WP Repository for BuddyPress Social Media plugins and found only one – “BuddyPress Social” – which seems to do what you looking for.  I installed it on a test site, but it didn’t seem to work very well (or at all) for me.  Maybe you might have better luck (or more time to figure it out).

Maybe others on this forum might have some better suggestions.

Also, if you are just looking for social media icons just on the forum section of your site, you might look at “bbPress Social Network” https://wordpress.org/plugins/bbpress-social-network/screenshots/ – I haven’t used it, but it gets very good ratings.

<strong style=”font-weight: 600; color: #000000;”>Not sure if this is what you mean but we use Social Login to sign in with no problems and BuddyP<strong style=”font-weight: 600; color: #000000;”>ress Twitter to put a follow me (Twitter) button on the profile. There is a facebook one as well but we found this keep crashing our site.
