    Hello,

I am new to CBOX and am using it right now on a personal site to get familiar with it as a possibile new CMS for another site I run.

I didn’t see the search feature for the help and support here, but googled CBOX and slider and only found a few posts, none of what I needed.

Right now the slider is frustrating me. I understand picking a category(Wish I could pick multiple categories with the slider) and from what I did see in the other slider issue posts it is not simply an image in a post, but the ‘featured image’ the slider picks up. Well it is working on some posts with featured images, but not others.

So with that not going smoothly, I decide to go to CBOX–Theme options and select do not display. It is gone, however I now have a full page of blank nothing where the slider was and have to scroll down a full page to see recent blog posts. It is like the middle/main section is a void and I cannot find where/how to get content there. Like if the slider was a widget, I would have said it was located in homepage center…But that is not it and I cannot find anywhere the slider is/was a widget. Which would actually have been nice as then I could choose where to display it…Above main posts, below them, etc.

Any help appreciated. The site in question is certainly not fully populated, and very WIP until I get this sorted…And I’m thinking it is likely me being slow on the uptake.

    Thanks for looking.

Hi – If you want to turn off the slider, you should probably go to Pages>>”Home Page” and change the template to something other than “Home Page Template”.  There are a bunch of other options.  The “Home page template” is designed to display the slider.
