Red spot/flag or highlight on menu tab

    I would like to add a ‘What’s New’ tab to my main menu. Ideally i would like a little flag icon or to be able to highlightor colour that particular tab as well. Is there a way to add colour/icons to a menu tab page title?

    I know most people here are incredibly proficient but just in case anyone at my level is interested in doing this – turning a menu tab red is at least a doodle by putting

    #menu-item-menu is here {
    background: red;
    }

    yep that’s the way to do it! Add your snippet to style.css of your child theme and that’s it 🙂
