Hi, more help needed please. I have a few queries:

Is it possible to put a newsfeed onto a header page (as in with a tab at the top). If so is there a plugin anyone can advise? I have looked at twitter blender but can’t make it work and storify and paper.li look good but can’t make head nor tail of how to go about setting them up. So if any one has the idiots guide to getting this idea working (including how to get a menu tab at the top of the page), then I would be really grateful.
I would like to put a blog tab at the top of the page, i’m sure this is possible but again the solution is eluding me
This is a rehash of a previous question. Ray helped me with limiting wiki editing access via group docs. My question now is – is there a way to limit the docs index to just show parent docs (with children shown underneath when you click through). At the moment the display of all docs looks a bit messy.

My site is http://studentsurveyor.com if that helps. Thank you, your help is really appreciated

As a post note buddypress facebook login crashed my site and buddypress message attachments kept delivering an attachment  too large message, regardless of size. If I can get to the end building my site I can post a list of plugins that even a technical numpty like me can use (if that helps anyone – posters all look very competent but there may be someone lurking in the background who are thinking of giving it a go!)
