I have encountered another problem with the wiki:

When I check the history, the most recent version is not listed. And the person who did the most recent changes is listed as having done the previous revision.

If one person uploaded content and made no changes after uploading, and another person then made revisions, the latter person is listed as having provided ALL content (as long as there are no previous versions, not history is shown).

This can seriously misrepresent who is responsible for which content on a site!

For example, if you go here:

    http://commonsabundance.net/wiki/lands-for-nature-preservation/history/

In actual fact, Samantha Galloway worked on this page on March 5 and 7, and I worked on it on March 15. I saved it once, then I went back in again and made a single spelling correction. What is says in the history is that I made one revision on March 7 (which is actually Samantha’s revision), and then made another revision on March 15 (which is my first set of extensive revisions, but not the correction of that one spelling mistake).

    Second example:

    http://commonsabundance.net/wiki/repositories-of-knowledge-libraries/history/

What actually happened is that Rachael Kissee started the page on March 7, saving it once, presumably. I made some revisions a day or two ago. It lists me as if I was responsible for the entire content of the page.

    Can this be fixed?

    Hello!

I’m still waiting for a reply to my post. It’s about a bug that seriously misrepresents the history of wiki pages, and I think somebody should pay attention!

Hi – this looks like a bug and I have opened up an issue on the plugin’s support site.  You can track at https://github.com/boonebgorges/buddypress-docs-wiki/issues/5

    Thanks for reporting this, Scott!

Do note that it’s not just about the most recent edit not being shown. It also lists the person who did the most recent edits as having done the edits before that. I think this continues – so that means, if more than one person has been doing work on one page, it doesn’t give a correct picture of who did what.

Thanks for reporting this.  I have added it to the github issue.
