    Hello,

My website is starsclub.co. The header image I have inserted is of 1260*200 so that in smaller resolutions it does not repeat..The problem which I am facing is that the image does not resizes, instead it crops the image which dissolves the purpose of header image and gives the website a ugly look…

Please help as soon as it is possible

    Warm Regards

    Sumit Agarwal

    Hi Sumit –

I don’t think this kind of behavior is possible with a background-image.  I tried using the “inherit” option, so that the size is inherited from its parent, but unfortunately it automatically starts to tile.

I was curious about using a large logo image that would cover the entire header, so I tried that – but it didn’t scale either, when you minimize it.

Maybe some one else on this forum has encountered/resolved this issue?

You might want to experiment on your own to see if you can develop something that you like, and if it works, create a child theme and incorporate your solution.
