Hi is there a front end blog post composer? i.e. so that members can submit drafts of posts and editors can compose posts without access to the dashboard?

P2 is the most popular one – http://wordpress.org/themes/p2

You may be able to find others on the WP Theme Repository – http://wordpress.org/themes/

Thanks @mkgold. Though it seems this requires we change our theme and as a consequence the whole look of our site? I was wondering if there was something in the standard Cbox theme that could enable this, just as a doc can be created and edited from  the front end as well…

    Hello, Helene,

in our CBOX install http://lehnhardt-akademie.net/projects/  there is a button “+New” in the very top bar of the CBOX theme. It needs to login.

This provides a front end posting of posts and pages as well.

Is this what you mean ?

Nope, that’s not possible unless you use a different theme. If you’re using CBOX on a multi-site network, you could enable P2 on a blog connected to the site.

Thanks @michaelg, this could work… but I was hoping for something that had more of a user side look and feel, i.e. not through the dashboard… but it’s nice to know there’s a direct acces!
