Hi, on my site http://naturalinfo.co.uk I’m intending to have an area for Discussion Forums, then an area for a Network of The Groups, Group Blogs, Docs etc –  I think I’ve got myself confused with the forums aspect for the groups and also with how the bbpress Forums, Categories and Topics structure works, as I seem to have created a mish mash of connectivity between the 2

I’ve looked at the bbpress and buddypress sites to see if there is a clarity of how they work together, but I can’t seem to work it out.

Can someone either point me to a link of how it works, or explain it.

I also notice that on here, to get to this forum, I have to go through the Group, then to the Forum in the menu – so is there just the Group Forums running on this, and no bbpress forums?

    confused….. 😉

    Hi Dale –

Boone and Ray put together a page about this in our documentation section.  I know that forum functionality can get confusing, and am hoping this can help – https://commonsinabox.org/documentation/buddypress-vs-bbpress-forums
