Hi again!
On http://commonsabundance.net/ we have a header with a globe and logo on the left, and a base line on the right. Both parts are currently fixed within the same picture.
How could I make it so that the right baseline aligns itself on the right depending on the width of the browser window? and provide a padding around it possibly in another color?
Currently the header has a padding around it but it doesn’t seem to be fixed in the header theme options. and the color can only be applied to the background not to the padding so when the dimension of the banner is fixed in width and the window is wider, there’s an ugly flat color area on the side.
How could this be corrected? currently I eliminated all background color.
Hi, I was told it should be possible to overlay the text on top of the image so it’s selectable (and indexed by search engines), and it aligns automatically on the right when the browser window changes size. I didn’t find how to do this in the widgets (no widgets for the header), though the CUNY site has a search widget there…
So, is there a way to overlay a text? Or to put two images on the header, one to align left and one right? That would be very useful…
Thanks!
Go to:
Apparence > cbox theme options > Options (tab) > Header (show all)
There are a bunch of options, and the ability to add two images, Logo image, and background image. I think you can accomplish most of what you are looking for.
mmmm— tried,
So actual logo that would have been background picture aligned left by default (no option to align), but there isn’t the padding/margin by default any more that I don’t know where it’s coming from… so I would need to ‘calculate’ it, to incorporate it in the pic…
But even then, text to overlay on the right as ‘logo’ with option to align left/center/right does not align on the right even when configured so. So that might be a bug?
Back to square one…
Thanks anyway!
