This may be simple for you, alas, I am still new to PHP and Commons in a Box. Do you have any idea why my Docs are not showing up when I press “Read” I receive the error

Darn it.. Nothing found Sorry, but nothing matched your search criteria. Please try again with some different keywords.

Is it possible that as I changed the word “Docs” to “Words” that it isn’t working? And I can’t find where I changed that right now! ug.

Thank you for Commons in a Box, this is great!

In my experience, this is what happens when one tries to access a private
group or private doc as a non-logged-in user. Any chance that’s what is
    going on here?

So glad you are enjoying CBOX — thanks for using it!

Exactly the same problem. Group docs all produce a nothing found 404.php page and wiki all producing a redirect to the home page. I have (foolishly) just updated wordpress, that is the only thing I can think has altered (after Ray rescued my site I have attempted to fiddle with it no more!). Is there a fix or do I have to restore site back to pre-update. I would really like to avoid doing this as I always end up losing a couple of newly registered members on the way and today I am on a university recruitment drive!

Hi Sam and Denise – Thanks for reporting this. The Dev team is investigating, and I have opened up an issue on GitHub so you can track their progress. Here is the link: https://github.com/cuny-academic-commons/commons-in-a-box/issues/89

Thanks tons Scott and Boone – The maintenance release fixing docs would be great. I am really digging the Commons in a Box set! Yes, I also have the updated WordPress. Another couple things I noticed, and I may just not be familiar with the ground, or it may be an issue, is the shortcode in my Pages such as [theme-my-login] weren’t doing anything, basically just showing the shortcode, is it supposed to bring the theme in?

Hi Matthew, At the end of last week it said there would/may be a maintenance release in the next few days. I was just checking I hadn’t missed a fix somewhere but I’ll just keep an eye on that page.

    Hi everyone,

I have updated to WP 3.7.1 today and observed the same thing wiki pages not accessible -redirected to home page (didn’t check behaviors of docs). Updated to the new release of Cbox 1.0.6 to see if it corrected it: now both docs and wiki pages are displayed like regular pages.

Unfortunately I seem to be throwing up the exception to the rule again and despite the upgrade both wiki and docs are still not opening. Mine were all working prior to my last wordpress update. I know this isn’t your domain but do you have any advice on how to revert back to the previous wordpress version (unless someone has some genius insight into the anomaly that is my site)?

I may have been a quick off the mark, my wiki is now working (thank you) but group docs still throwing up 404 page.

I too have issues sorting this out…

Wiki pages still seem to direct to homepage, See Wiki activity page links: http://dev.commonsabundance.net/wiki/

and group docs to ‘normal’ page format, see all docs page links: http://dev.commonsabundance.net/docs/

Now from the docs cloud widget on the side of the All docs page, the wiki pages appear under a “normal page” title format and lead to a 404 not found (via a /docs pathway).

Those who are still having problems with WP 3.7.x + Commons In A Box 1.0.6, can you please share your setting at Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks?
