Default BuddyPress Avatar Not Active

    Using MAMP, the default avatar for BuddyPress does not appear to be active for new users.  Changing the default avatar has no effect.  However, new users can upload their own avatar and this works well.  The default avatars I am referring to are those set in CBOX Theme Options>BuddyPress>Show All

    Are you developing on a local server? I assume you do because you’re mentioning MAMP. The issue you describe is related to a change to the Gravatar service, and will not occur on your live site. Please read more about this here: https://github.com/cuny-academic-commons/cbox-theme/issues/22
