I was super excited to see version 1.0.3 released today because the updates fixed a few of the problems I had been having on the site I am working on.  Note that I am using the CBOX theme, as well.  Anyway, I realized that after updating, the widgets were gone from the sidebars on all my pages (except the homepage).  When I go to the widget area, the column on the right hand side that display all the areas I can put widgets is now empty with the exception of the homepage area and the old areas are showing as inactive on the bottom of the page and I can’t find an option to reactivate them.  I ended up restoring my site to before the update, but would love to be able to update if I can get it to work.

    Me too.

Jeanette, I know I should have worked it out by now, but how do you restore a site?

    Hi Sam,

Restoring a site depends on your setup and if you’ve made a backup or not.  I use wpengine’s hosting, and they automatically create a backup of the site for me everyday, plus I can create them manually with a click of a button (which is what I always do before installing a new plugin or making updates).  So you will probably want to check with your hosting provider if they offer a similar service.  Otherwise I know there are plugins that will automatically make backups for you, but it may be too late for you now:(

I just upgraded to 1.0.3 and noticed the same thing.  If you scroll down the Widget page it appears that a lot of the widgets are now inactive.  And I did notice on the Wiki page, the widgets are still configured, but are not displaying as expected.  I notice a lot of new bbpress widgets.  Let me right up a ticket to get more info.  Thanks for reporting.

Hello everyone, I solved by replacing the file with a correct file cbox-theme/engine/includes/sidebars.php to solve the same problem with the Infinity theme.
The file to edit is: https://github.com/PressCrew/infinity/blob/master/engine/includes/sidebars.php#L19

    Bye

Thank you very much for the latest up date, it has reinstated my sidebar, however in my case I can’t get the top (main page) wiki widget to work. Thanks again for all the help.
