    Hello,

I am very new at WordPress and my question may be very basic, but I need some help.

When I activated the possibility for anyone to register, I was asked to associate a page for the “account creation” and for the “account activation”. I have associated the pages to “homepage” and “example page”, this is wrong but I did it …

Now, when I click on “home”  from the menu, I am redirected to the “people” menu an when I click on the “example page” I am redirected to the “activate your account page” … Also, when I logout the “home” menu brings me to “creat an account”. I guess that all this is normal since I’ve changed the pages associated, but I would like to change this and come back to how it was before : a “home” that looks like the initial default page (with slider, etc …).

How can I come back to how it was initially ? What should have I done when I’ve activated the possibility for anyone to register ?

Thank you in advance for your help

    Miroslav

    Hello,

OK I found all the necessary information in the buddypress codex : http://codex.buddypress.org/user/setting-up-a-new-installation/configure-buddypress-components/ , and now it is clear to me.
Settings>BuddyPress>Pages was the good path + creation of two pages “register” and “activate” !

    Than you,

    Miroslav
