Hi, I´m using cbox on wpmultisite with subdomains. and I want to built 5 different Forums, one on every subdomain. For every subdomain I want to use the cbox theme.

One problem is, that the widget for the “Home sidbar” is not shown on the “home page” of the subdomain Forums.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Dirk,

There is a reason because CBOX does not load these sidebars for sub sites in Multisite. We made this decision because normally in a Multisite installation you would have one main community hub (with BuddyPress/CBOX) and then a bunch of student blog sites. These sites would not need all the extra sidebars and the homepage sliders and would only confuse the user. Hence we’re not loading that code on subsites.

If I understand correctly you need a specific sidebar for the homepage? Have you tried using the “Sitewide Sidebar” or is that not an option?

    well,

in my case my buddypress installation is not on the main side (not on ID1). I would like to get ite features and sidebars for the homepage like in the demo.

    how can I load them?
