Here is a recap of things that are not critical but degrade readability and the user experience:

    Forums

    > I already mentioned problems of forum description display here (no response):  https://commonsinabox.org/groups/help-support/forum/topic/forums-fancy-editor-not-appearing-even-when-checked/#post-2860

    > I already mentioned size of text of Recent topic widget is too large (same as title)

    > As you may have noticed here, bullet points don’t come out in the forum

    Blog posts

    > Indents don’t work in numbered and bulletted lists (are OK in the visual editor (CK editor), but not displayed correctly in the actual post)

    >Reply and report user button overlayed ‘floating’ on comment text on left hand side

    Members directory

    > Cancel friendship and add friend buttons overlayed ‘floating’ on status text on the right hand side. Status text is directly following the user’s name in members directory, whereas it is inserted in a box in activity stream avaoiding the pb…

    Docs

    > Reply button hiding commenter’s avatar

    > Would be great to link a doc to several groups (with similar permissions applying to all)

    > tags, when the docs list is long make the list look odd. Would be better with a standard size and a view all option.

    Groups

    > Little icons of group menu do not appear for newly added plugins (buddydrive, collabpress project & calendar)

    > Admin menu: the tab bar is different from each selected tab. Seems the plugin tabs display a partial tab list, so we need to go back to admin between each tab to follow the whole group config sequence…

    > Group description editor is not wysiwyg, so it is difficult for non html proficient people to ‘showcase’ their groups.

    > Groupwide email notifications do not appear in group activity

    Hi Helene,

I am having issues with the header logo. It displays okay on computers and on iPads but extends off the website to the right into the background on iPhones.  I’ve tried resizing the logo as on this site and adjusted the usual settings to no avail. Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Alan

    Hi,

One thing I’d like to add about the “Cancel friendship” button – I find it far too conspicuous! Can it be put somewhere less obvious? I’d say it is appropriate to have simply a non-clickable “Friend” where it now says “Cancel Friendship” and instead, for example, have something in one’s own profile where one can change friendships, including canceling them. I don’t consider “friendships” to be something one thinks of canceling every time one is reminded of them!

    Best,

    Wolfgang

    Helene & Wolfgang –

You guys are mixing bug reports with feature requests with things you want to see on your own sites that the rest of us don’t care about. If you cram all that stuff into one post it’s difficult for the rest of us to sort it out.

I keep track of these forums so I can see if anyone is finding bugs I haven’t seen yet, since our own community is live and additional invites will soon go out to 3000+ people. Thanks for posting on the forums everything you’re finding. Just please differentiate things so it’s easier to sort out.

    Hi Wolfgang,

The CBOX development team can consider this suggestion, but we can’t
promise that we’ll develop the functionality you seek. As a project serving
the needs of many people and organizations, we need to find a balance
between general settings that serve most users and those we think relate
    more to individual cases.

However, the nice thing about this being an open-source project is that
anyone using the platform can customize it to serve particular
needs/preferences. So, you might consider trying to edit the theme
yourself, or hiring a developer to make these customizations for you if you
    feel strongly about them.

Thanks for using CBOX and if you do try to edit the theme yourself, please
let us know how it goes, ask questions, and share your work.

    Best,

    Matt
