    Hi CBOX community,

I’m running a BuddyPress group on my website with a bbPress forum. I use the Group Email Subscription plugin to send notifications if anything happens on the group.

So if someone creates a topic on the forum, everyone gets a notification. Then for every reply everyone gets a separate email with only the name of the topic and the reply. Is it possible to send the notification with the most recent reply and topic itself and all the replies before the most recent one? Or is it possible that all replies get bundled in one email, just how it normally happens with email? I want to keep the ‘All email’  option on.

Is someone willing to help me?

    Regards,

    Mathijs

Hi Mathijs, the BP Group Email Subscription plugin offers some filters that can help you achieve this, but you would have to write your own code to implement what you want. Have a look at the bp_ass_activity_notification_content filter, for example, which allows you to rebuild the message content depending on the context.

CBOX has its roots in the CUNY Academic Commons, which in turn was made possible through funding from The City University of New York itself.
